How Do We Eliminate Problem Odors? Ultraviolet radiation will energize oxygen right from the air into a potent deodorizer called Photonic Oxygen. We needed a solution to strong odors of smoking and cooking in my childhood home, after a year as a rental. Was there an effective way to eliminate these problems? Research revealed that ultraviolet light (UV) was the secret. UV photons energize the oxygen we breathe, like our sun does in the stratosphere. This generates Photonic Oxygen, a short-lived sterilizer that literally destroys odors.
